Weight Loss for Health and Performance

Weight loss is always a hot topic, whether we want to lose weight to run faster, or lose weight to improve our general health.

In theory it is a simple process focussed around energy intake (through food) and energy expenditure (predominately through physical activity for the active person). However, in practice it is a little more difficult than that to actually achieve. Combine that with all the weight loss fads, tablets and 'great abs in only 3 minutes a day' and it becomes a difficult topic that many don't understand.
